Material Worlds is a series of workshops that invite you to explore and experiment with different materials, using the materials of our lives, our place and our community and approaches to making art as a way of discovering your own creativity.
The CoCreate Theatre Group
An 8-week theatre course at Lighthouse Poole led by Gemma Alldred. Explore performance, devising, and writing in a supportive, playful space with no pressure to perform. Open to beginners and experienced theatre-makers alike.
Visual Arts – Stitching Stories
An 8-week textile art course with artist Rosie Edwards. Explore stitching, layering, and print in a supportive, playful space where process comes before perfection. Materials provided — beginners and experienced makers welcome.
Theatre Taster Session
Try out drama in a friendly, supportive environment. This free two-hour workshop is a chance to meet the teachers, explore fun creative activities, and help shape our upcoming 8-week theatre course.
Online Creative Drop-In Sessions
Join us on Zoom for a free, friendly art space. Each week we’ll share a creative prompt to spark your imagination – you can write, draw, paint, dance, or explore whatever inspires you. Beginners and experienced artists are welcome, with no regular commitment required.
