Community Arts Workshops: High Street Creativity for Poole Heritage Action Zone

In 2022, CoCreate delivered community arts workshops as part of the Poole Heritage Action Zone (HAZ) Cultural Programme, a multi-partner project led by BCP Council and funded by Historic England. The workshops aimed to engage local people, explore heritage themes, and gather ideas about how the community feels about their high street and its future.

CoCreate artists, alongside locally commissioned artists, ran a range of creative activities on Poole High Street during summer 2022, culminating in a day-long exhibition showcasing the community’s ideas and artwork.
